Project Global Sound
BRINGING PEACE WITH THERAPEUTIC SOUND AND MUSIC
In 1999, actor turned filmmaker Jeremy Gilley founded the non-profit organisation Peace One Day. In 2001 the organisation’s efforts were rewarded when the member states of the United Nations unanimously adopted the *first ever annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence on 21 September – Peace Day.
Peace One Day is impartial and independent of any government, political persuasion, corporation or religious creed.
Project Global Sound was started by Lyz Cooper in 2011 to promote health, wellbeing and unity by enabling the world to come together through sound.
This year we are joining with Peace One Day to promote peace and unite people in therapeutic sound and music.
To take part all you need to do is add to cart, create an account and follow the instructions to upload your track by 30th August 2019. All we need is a 1 minute clip of sound in MP3 format along with your name and country.
It could be a nature sound from the country you live in, a vocal piece, a singing bowl, gong or drum or any sound or original musical piece that you find therapeutic and that you think would be lovely in our peace-mix. We will send you a contributors logo that you can share on social media.
We look forward to hearing from you - literally!
